Please read these Terms of Use before using Art Outlet.org or any features of these site, including, but not limited to, the Art Outlet shop, Art Outlet RSS feeds and Art Outlet Podcasts (collectively, the " Art Outlet web site" or the "service"). The contents of the Art Outlet web site are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, prepare derivative works, or perform any copyrighted material on the Art Outlet web sites without the prior written consent of Art Outlet, except as provided below. You may copy and print a limited amount of content, and you may download Art Outlet content, for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided that you include all copyright and other notices contained in the content and that you do not modify the content. Any other use of Art Outlet content requires prior written permission from Art Outlet.

Trademarks
All artwork and content posted by Art Outlet members on the Art Outlet web site are copyrighted by the artists themselves. They reserve all rights to the original art. By signing up as a member or participating in a Art Outlet art show, Art Outlet members give the board and administrators of Art Outlet the right to publish their art online and in print for marketing purposes, press releases and any other news items. The art of Art Outlet members may not be distributed, printed or used in any other form by Non- Art Outlet members without their written consent.

Framing
Art Outlet does not allow framing of its Web site.

Links to the Art Outlet web site
Art Outlet encourages and permits links to content on the Art Outlet web site. The linking should not (a) suggest that Art Outlet promotes or endorses any third party's causes, ideas, web sites, products or services, or (b) use Art Outlet content for inappropriate commercial purposes. We reserve the right to withdraw permission for any link.

Art Outlet 's RSS feeds, provided by Art Outlet, consist of a selection of headlines, summaries and links to full news stories, which can be delivered to your desktop using a technology called XML (extensible Markup Language) (individually, an "RSS Feed" and collectively, the "RSS Feeds"). The RSS Feeds are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. All rights in and to the RSS Feeds are reserved to Art Outlet. The RSS Feeds are available for personal, noncommercial use only. Use of the Service
If you use the service, including by participation in the Art Outlet Discussions or Chat Areas of the Art Outlet Web site or by submission of essays, e-mails or other information via Art Outlet.org, you must follow a few simple rules:

2. While we do not seek to limit expression of ideas, certain materials and language will not be tolerated. You promise and represent that any posted, uploaded, included or transmitted materials will be owned by you or in the public domain.
4. The service can only be used for non-commercial purposes. You cannot distribute or otherwise publish any material containing any solicitation of funds, advertising or solicitation for goods and services.
5. You may not post, upload or transmit any software or other material which contains a virus or other harmful code or device. You may not use the service to distribute chain letters, mass mailings or "spam" or to gather e-mail addresses for the purpose of sending "spam" to other users of the Service.

Representations; Indemnity

Online Shopping
In the event a product available on or through the Art Outlet Shop is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, Art Outlet will have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify Art Outlet 's acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of Art Outlet 's offer to sell. Art Outlet reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Art Outlet may charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders. Otherwise, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to you.

Copyright Infringment
Art Outlet respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide the following information in writing to Art Outlet 's web administrator:

2. a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.

The Service is controlled and operated within the United States. Art Outlet makes no representation that content, materials or products available on or through the Service are appropriate or available for use outside of the United States. If you access the Service from a location outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with applicable laws, including U.S. export laws and regulations.

Miscellaneous
These terms of use, together with the Art Outlet Privacy Policy, represent the entire understanding of the parties regarding the use of the Art Outlet web site and supersede any previous documents, correspondence, conversations, or other oral or written understanding related to these terms of use. These terms of use shall be governed by and construed under Virginia law without regard to its choice of law rules, and, where applicable, the laws of the United States. To the extent permissible by law, any disputes under these terms of use or relating to the Service shall be litigated in the local or Federal courts located, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue, in the Virginia. A modification or waiver of a part of these terms of use shall not constitute a waiver or modification of any other portion of the terms of use. Art Outlet Disclaimer for Participation in the Art Outlet Group, it’s activities, the web site and services as outlined under Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Bylaws.

Artist Participation Agreement for all Art Outlet events.

1. Participant Age
The Artist must be 18 years or older in order to participate in any Art Outlet Activity.

2. Copyright
Copyright and all reproduction rights in the artworks, as well as the ownership of the physical artworks themselves, are the property of and reserved to the Artist.

4. Art Sales
All sales are handled by the Artist. Art Outlet is a certified 501c(3) Non-Profit Organization and collects no commission on any sales, purchase or artistic representation of any item or performance generated by its artistic collective. Any donations received from the artist arising from sale of their original artwork are strictly voluntary and at the discretion of the artist. These donations qualify as tax exempt under the provisions of the 501c(3) Non-Profit Organization reporting requirements.

5. Insurance of Art Work
Art Outlet does not insure art. Each Artist is responsible for insuring her/his own art. Art Outlet cannot guarantee insurance and security of artworks on exhibit. We will, however, try to take care of your art and handle it with care.

6. Loss, Theft, or Damage
The Artist agrees to assume full responsibility and be strictly liable for loss, theft, or damage to the artworks from the time of shipment or delivery by the Artist and for the duration of the Activity, to installation and de-installation of the work. The Artist further agrees to collect all of the artworks at his or her own expense. Art Outlet will not be responsible for or store uncollected artworks.

7. Physical Damage, Injuries or Death
Art Outlet and its officers is not liable for an injury and death to the Artist during the Activity, to installation or de-installation of the work.

8. Printed Materials and Web Site
Art Outlet reserves the right to reproduce your art on our web site, promotional or educational purposes. Your name will be published at all times with the art when reproduced.

9. Miscellany
The agreement shall be binding upon the parties hereto, their heirs, successors, assigns and personal representatives. The agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties. Its terms can only be modified by an instrument in writing signed by both parties. A waiver of any breach of any of the provisions of this Agreement shall not be construed as a continuing waiver of other breaches of the same or other provision hereof. It shall be governed by the laws of the state of VA.

At Art Outlet, we are aware of safety precautions. The safety of our visitors, participants, staff and volunteers are our top priority. We have therefor developed a policy consisting of rules, regulations and bureaucracy to ensure safe and smooth operation of our art activities.
